Royal Family News: Gary Goldsmith Opens Up About Princess Charlotte’s Bridesmaid Dress Debacle

British Royal Family News says that Gary Goldsmith is absolutely holding on to his niece Kate Middleton’s side by letting the world know that he does not approve of Prince Harry dishing out so much drama and dirt about the future queen of England. In fact, he’s got some rather interesting things to say about the whole bridesmaid dress debacle that apparently made Kate Middleton snap and left Meghan Markle sobbing on the floor. In a rather interesting op-ed with the Daily Mail, Gary, who has had his fair share of negative headlines in the past, too, says that Harry had no right to discuss this very private matter regarding Princess Charlotte’s dress. He said,

““This made me see red. How dare Harry share such a confidence involving a young child? How he has the temerity to talk about moving to the U.S. to ‘protect his family and their privacy’ when he is prepared to violate his niece’s confidentiality is base hypocrisy. Harry claims to be reporting an exchange of texts when he writes that Meghan told Kate to go to the Palace, where her tailor, Ajay, was standing by to alter the dresses. But this — according to Harry — was not good enough for Kate, who tersely demanded that the dress be completely remade. Nonsense.”

He continued, “I honestly don’t believe this version of the ‘facts’. Kate is self-sufficient, resourceful and extremely capable. She comes from a family of doers and fixers and has an amazing support system in her younger sister Pippa and her mum, my older sister Carole, who runs her own successful business. She has taught her girls to deal with problems with calm capability, not histrionics.”

In Spare, Prince Harry opened up about a “back and forth” tiff between Kate and Meghan. He also revealed the texts between them.

“I’m not sure what else to say. If the dress doesn’t fit then please take Charlotte to see Ajay. He’s been waiting all day,” Harry said Meghan told Kate, to which she reportedly responded: “Fine.”

“A short time later, I arrived home and found Meg on the floor. Sobbing,” Harry says. “I was horrified to see her so upset but didn’t think it was a catastrophe.”
