General Hospital Spoilers: Did Phyllis Know Nina Had Twin Daughters? The Truth Comes Out!

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) has been a friend to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) ever since she arrived in Nixon Falls and fell for “Mike.” What remains to be seen is just how much Phyllis knew about Nina’s birth that she may not have shared with her.

Certainly, Phyllis could have her reasons for being elusive about the details of that day, but they better be darned good ones since she watched NIna grieve over the loss of her daughter and never mentioned she had another one waiting in the wings somewhere. It’s possible Phyllis never knew about the other baby, but word on the street is that seems too good to be true for Port Charles.

Let’s assume Phyllis never knew there was another baby. She was tending to Nina’s care for her entire pregnancy while she was in a coma. How is it possible that she oversaw nine months of healthcare for a pregnant woman and never knew there were two babies? Was she not privy to her medical records?

Sure, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) went out of her way to obscure the truth, but was there any need to separate the girls and keep it a secret? Nina might find it hard to believe that Phyllis wasn’t aware more than one baby was born that day.

GH Spoilers – Tease Phyllis Caulfield May Have Known The Whole Time!

Yes, it’s possible that this sweet so-called friend of Nina’s has known the truth the entire time and decided to keep it to herself. Boy if that isn’t the pot calling the kettle black. Phyllis was supportive of Nina even after she figured out that Nina knew “Mike” was really Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) the whole time they were in Nixon Falls.

She still insisted that honesty was the best policy though. Phyllis was rather unnerved by finding out Harmony was in Port Charles, too, and in retrospect, we may find that was part of the reason she hesitated to accept Sonny’s offer to give Charlie’s Bar to her. Why would Phyllis keep such a big and life-changing secret from Nina? Is it being held over her head? Madeleine is dead now; so who could possibly be blackmailing Phyllis into silence?

General Hospital Spoilers — Either Way, Phyllis Caulfield Will Be Just As Surprised As Nina Reeves

Regardless of whether Phyllis knew the truth or not, she’s going to be stunned when she realizes Nina knows it. If Phyllis was in the dark all along, she might only piece together events that occurred and things Harmony did in hindsight that make sense now. However, if she knew about Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) twin sister, and Harmony’s involvement in skirting her off, she may have wondered all along whether Willow could have been the other baby that Harmony just kept for herself instead of handing her off to a family the way Phyllis did with Nelle.
