The Young and the Restless promo for the week of December 9th thru 13th indicates that relationship problems are on the rise for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), as well as Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).

With her son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) experiencing emotional problems, Chelsea moved in with her ex-husband Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to help Connor.

The new living situation has raised a lot of eyebrows, and has everyone curious about who Chelsea wants to be with.

As Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) explains to her brother Nick, Chelsea can’t have it both ways, she needs to decide to who she’s going to be with.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman’s breaking point?

Nick has been trying to be supportive of Chelsea. The couple vowed together they could overcome anything, yet the situation with Connor and Chelsea’s new living arrangement may be too much.

Chelsea declared her love for Nick and said this isn’t going to change them, yet cracks are already forming.

Nick is worried that Adam is going to use Connor’s issues to manipulate Chelsea. Yet, as Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) pointed out, Chelsea is the one who decided to move out. Nick may be starting to realize Phyllis is right, and this week he voices his concerns to Chelsea.

During a dinner date, Nick brings up Chelsea’s new living situation. Chelsea is adamant she has to stay with Adam until Connor’s better, Nick then asks if Chelsea’s going to live with Adam until Connor goes to college. Chelsea is annoyed by Nick’s comment.

Later Chelsea is trying to get through to Nick and get him to understand why she needs to do this. Nick usually is supportive of Chelsea, but he confesses that he doesn’t know if he can keep doing this.

With tension forming between the couple, it seems like Chick may be coming to an end.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Are Devon Hamilton and Elena Dawson over?

After the death of his wife, Devon finally found love again with Elena. Yet, the couple has been going through a rough patch in recent weeks.

Devon is furious about being swindled out of his inheritance by Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers). He’s blaming Cane Ashby (Daniel Goodard) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan) for being part of the scam, even though they’ve proclaimed their innocence.

Elena’s seen how tense Devon is and has tried to encourage him to relax, and let this situation go. Yet, Devon feels that Elena doesn’t understand what he’s going through.

Devon’s attitude is driving a wedge between them, and this week the couple has a serious discussion about their relationship. Devon tells Elena she deserves to be with somebody better.

So will this also be the end of Devon and Elena? If so, does this open the door for a possible Devon and Amanda pairing?
