Royal Family News: Ghislaine Maxwell Defending Prince Andrew Is ‘Not A Good Look’

British Royal Family News says that a lot of people can agree on this one. Royal critics are saying that Ghislaine Maxwell’s latest interview is definitely not doing the royal family any favors, especially since she is coming to the defense of Prince Andrew. Here’s what you need to know.

In an interview with TalkTV, Ghislaine thinks that the photo of Prince Andrew with Virgnia Giuffre is not a real one. “It’s a fake. I don’t believe it’s real for a second, in fact I’m sure it’s not,” she states. “There’s never been an original and further there is no photograph. I’ve only ever seen a photocopy of it.”

Prince Andrew had said the same thing during his 2019 interview with the BBC. “I don’t believe that photograph was taken in the way that has been suggested,” he told the broadcaster at the time. “It’s a photograph of a photograph of a photograph… Nobody can prove whether or not that photograph has been doctored.”

Royal commentator Peter Hunt took to his Twitter account to write, “Convicted sex trafficker comes to the aid of King’s brother. Not a good look.”

Needless to say, many others seem to agree. Some comments have included, “I’m not sure what the press are up too but I don’t like it. It’s like they & the royals r trying to redeem Andrew. 1st there is the headline that he’s trying 2 overturn the settlement with Virginia & now Ghislaine has been given a platform in which she’s denying A’s link with V,” along with, “Only three people in that photo and two have now called it into question and the third ‘lost’ it when requested to submit it for forensic analysis. And doesn’t Prince Andrew have a name? But of course, that wouldn’t allow you to try and drag the King.”

Another critic wrote, “It’s funny that whenever a member of the RF needs a character reference – the list of candidates only get worse! First Uncle Gary, now Maxwell… Rolf Harris will be available soon.”
