General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Forces Carolyn’s Hand And Implicates Her In His Crimes

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is bent on making sure he doesn’t take the fall for his own crimes in holding Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) hostage at Wyndemere. For the time being, Esme is insisting she has no memory of what she was up to before she was hospitalized for hypothermia, which could be true.

Nik brought in Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) mom, Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby), to finish the job and see to it that Esme never remembers what happened to her. However, he didn’t expect Carolyn to refuse to help. Backed into a corner, Nik will feel he has no choice but to coerce Carolyn into compliance — and Elizabeth just might help him.

Nikolas tried to plead with Carolyn that this wasn’t just about him and Elizabeth was in trouble, too, but without his confession that would have clued Carolyn into the seriousness of what is at stake, she wasn’t buying it. She stormed out quite unhappy that she traveled all that way for Nikolas’ games. Typical of a Cassadine man, she doesn’t intend to strike up any further conversation with him, but she just might sit down with her daughter again and try to suss out what’s really going on. When Elizabeth opens up and tells her Nikolas wasn’t lying and that she is in trouble, she won’t trust her enough to tell her why, but she just may give her a chance to redeem herself by doing the unthinkable.

GH Spoilers – Hint Carolyn Webber Complies

It sounds like Elizabeth is going to flip-flop and decide she’s more comfortable with Carolyn suppressing someone’s memories as long as it benefits her. That’s convenient, and the irony won’t be lost on Carolyn, but she just wants to be back in her daughter’s life and help make sure Lizzie isn’t carted off to prison anytime soon. When Carolyn jumps on board with this plan to push Esme’s memories so far into the back of her mind that they’re not likely to ever surface again, she will do so knowing it could cost her much more than just a relationship with Elizabeth. Will Liz appreciate that enough to let her back into her life?
