It looks like Kim Kardashian is trying to get in the good graces of one of the biggest pop stars in the world. But whether or not it will work, remains to be seen. Apparently, Kim is in need of a new friend group and what better way than to start things all over again by trying to be good friends with Taylor Swift, right?

Well, now that Kim is no longer married to her ex-husband Kanye West – who has a long history of beef with Taylor – she wants to start things over with the songstress.

According to the National Enquirer, one source close to the situation put it this way, “Kanye demanded 100 percent loyalty from Kim so she could never admit she wanted to be friends with Taylor. She desperately wants that now.”

One of the reasons why Kim wants to be friends with Taylor is because she can expand her friend groups with the likes of people such as Jaime King, Hailee Steinfeld, Sarah Hylan, and Emma Stone.

But it might be a little hard for Taylor to let go of the past seeing how she was mistreated by Kanye West at the 2009 MTV Music Awards when the rapper came on stage and stole her moment by saying that Beyonce deserved her award more than her. If that weren’t enough, Kim also threw some shade towards Taylor’s direction during an episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” in 2016.

Taylor Swift – Can Hold A Grudge With The Best Of Them

That said, it doesn’t look like Taylor is willing to forgive or forget. In fact, she probably doesn’t want anything to do with Kim altogether. The insider added, “Taylor knows Kim wants the cachet of being in her posse. But she can hold grudges with the best of them.”

So far Kim Kardashian herself has not made any comments about the matter, and neither has Taylor Swift. Watch this space.
