The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Kyle’s Plan Benefits Victor – Summer’s Concerns Dismissed

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) believes he is helping Marketti and protecting his father, not necessarily in that order. But choosing to do Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) bidding is already proving foolish.

Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) suspects her husband is setting himself up for failure. Her recent encounter with Kyle, outside Jabot’s executive suite, was another instance where Summer’s instincts proved to be sharp.

Kyle believes ridding Jabot of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be good for all involved, not that he cares what happens to Jabot’s current co-Chief Executive Officer. Kyle concluded the textile assets Victor promised him, in trade for useful dirt about Adam, make the risk he is taking worth it.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Leads Jabot

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) allowed Kyle to become his co-CEO in the recent past. Kyle’s wife, Summer, was forced to leave town by Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) during a storyline that was engineered because Hunter King (Summer) voluntarily exited the cast last year.

So, Kyle, Summer, and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) lived in Italy for a while, had an off-screen wedding, and later returned to Genoa City, Wisconsin, when Lanier became the recast. Jack allowed Kyle to shift to heading Marchetti during that plot period.

Adam was only hired because Kyle wanted his career aligned with Summer’s. Kyle knew then and now that his father makes the calls at Jabot.

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Behaving Like The Moustache

Kyle is working behind his father’s back to set Adam up. Jack would never approve of that skullduggery and will be enraged when learning of it.

Victor had a conversation with his wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), where she told him to reconsider orchestrating Adam’s return to Newman Enterprises. The Moustache listened to his true love but assured her he had everything under control.

Summer heard similar responses from Kyle when she warned him against being involved with her grandfather, Victor. Mealor’s character impressed upon Summer that all would be swell.

Adam knows that multiple people will never give him a fair chance. He also believes that some, including his father, are always out to get him.

While Victor’s intentions are just, in his mind, working with Kyle to have Adam, in effect, fired is plain wrong. Victor and Kyle do not want to allow Jack and Adam to work together. That projects mutual arrogance.

Kyle may be putting himself in a position to be fired or to have his authority greatly diminished when his father learns the truth. Adam has not been disloyal, Kyle has, and Jack will instantly recognize that on Y&R.
