General Hospital Spoilers: Wyndemere Set Ablaze — Whodunnit?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Spoon Island will go down in flames soon, and the media, police, and the Cassadine family will be stunned and wondering what could’ve possibly gone wrong. Wyndemere is equipped for this kind of thing. There have been fires there before — most recently in the north tower. Whether or not the family mansion can be saved or repaired will be up in the air for some time, and that means Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will be displaced and in need of a place to stay again.

Will she head back to Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) place again, or might she take up residence somewhere with a bit more privacy that will afford her alone time with Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) as they try to work out what their next step is in dealing with Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) — who is clearly not dead.

General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Jerome Cassadine Crossed Nikolas Cassadine For The Last Time

Nikolas isn’t one for letting bygones be bygones. He stressed that when he showed up at Wyndemere just before Ava clocked him over the head with an iron statue. When he threw a threat Ava’s way concerning her little girl, Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola),Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola), Ava didn’t waste time making sure Nikolas wouldn’t be able to touch her daughter. However, playing with Nikolas is playing with fire, and Ava should have known better than to think she could trust he was dead and leave him to rot.

For one reason or another, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) told Ava that Nikolas was indeed dead. Surely, the truth is going to come to light later on as to why Austin led her to believe that when it wasn’t true. It also clearly means he knows otherwise and was either willing to let Nikolas get away or looking for his own angle to manipulate Ava. What business might he have with her? Does this have something to do with his cousin, Mason (Nathanyael Grey), and the “boss lady” that keeps ordering him around?

Ava has tried to take everything from Nikolas. PLaura Collins (Genie Francis) was right. This is a new low for Nikolas and she may lose him for good. Nikolas has lost his oldest friend, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) — and Ava has only worked to make sure Elizabeth keeps her distance and stays extricated from her friendship with him. Nik has also lost his son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), and thanks to Ava, he’s losing his future son or daughter, too.

Ava is living in his home — the only one he’s ever really known. When the manor is lit ablaze, Ava could be trapped inside. Fire is one of her worst fears ever since her last scuffle with it that left her face and heart scarred. Nikolas has nothing left and although he’s keen to start over somewhere else where he can’t be persecuted or captured for his crimes on American soil, he’s not leaving Ava to soak up his spoils.
