As many royal fans can recall, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they were pregnant with their second child on Valentine’s Day back in 2021.

In a black and white photo, the couple shared their joyous news with the world by announcing that their son Archie would be getting a little brother or sister. In June of that year, Meghan had given birth to the couple’s baby, a daughter that they named Lilibet.

What made the Valentine’s Day announcement so special was that Princess Diana had announced that she was pregnant with her second child on the most romantic day of the year, too.

She told the world that she and Prince Charles at the time were expecting their second child, who turned out to be a boy that they named Harry. The Duke of Sussex later said that it was a pure coincidence that they announced their second pregnancy in the same way that his mother did so many years ago.
