The Bold And The Beautiful spoilers and recap for Thursday, February 16 reveal that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) prepare to let Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). Hope is determined not to let Douglas see how upset he gets. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) tells John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) that Douglas will be there later. Finn doesn’t blame Douglas for needing a break with Thomas as a father. Thomas visits Eric Forrester (John McCook) to ask for another chance.

Eric tells Thomas that he needs to ask the ones he hurt for another chance. Thomas wants to repair his relationship with his son. Eric is surprised that Douglas chose to live with Steffy and Finn. Thomas didn’t see that coming. Hope is devastated by this. Thomas says Douglas wants to stay where he has fun. Thomas blames himself for Douglas’ choice. Thomas thinks this could be a benefit to Thomas.

Thomas plans to get closer to Douglas at Steffy’s. Eric tells Thomas that Steffy will be acting in Douglas’ best interest, not Thomas’. Thomas says what happened is a blessing in disguise. Thomas says he can come and go as he pleases at Steffy’s house.

The Bold And The Beautiful spoilers indicate that Finn doesn’t understand why Douglas doesn’t want to stay at his own home. Hope calls Steffy and tells her they will be there shortly. Steffy is sure that Douglas will want to come home soon. Steffy has Douglas’ room ready. Steffy feels bad for Hope. Finn hopes that Douglas will go back home soon. Finn is worried about how Douglas living there will affect their children.

Finn says their kids don’t need to be put out in any way. Steffy says that is what makes Finn such a good dad. Steffy is proud to be Finn’s wife. Douglas arrives and Finn takes his luggage. Steffy tells Douglas he is always welcome there. Douglas will always have his home at the cabin too. Douglas hugs Hope and goes to see his room. Steffy knows this must be hard for Hope.

Douglas has something he wants to say to Hope and Liam.

Douglas tells Hope and Liam that he just needs a change. Liam tells Douglas that none of this works unless he’s happy. Douglas tells Liam not to let Hope be said. Hope says Douglas can visit whenever he wants. Douglas loves both of them. Hope will always love Douglas.
