The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Douglas Appoints Steffy Referee – Thomas And Hope Can Not Get Along

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) took control of his life. Playing off Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) intent, Douglas opted against his father and surprisingly, against Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).

Thomas thought his son would choose him when given a chance. Hope was concerned that her adopted son might be in jeopardy of being lost. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was worried that Thomas was preparing to pull another stunt.

Douglas senses the dysfunction that exists between Thomas, Hope, and Liam. While he knows his father is mostly to blame, it is fair to conclude that Douglas also realizes that Hope was not as firm with Thomas as she should have been and that partially fueled his desire to live with his aunt Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Spencer Did Not Push Back

Thomas pulled a fast one in the recent past. He asked Hope to allow Douglas to spend time with him at the Forrester mansion.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show Douglas was working on a project that went long. In retrospect, that was part of Thomas’ strategy. Atkinson’s character asked Hope if Douglas could stay over, and she said yes.

The above happened during a point in the plot where Hope was occasionally sleeping at Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) home. Liam thought Thomas was trying to sway Hope. Thomas kept Douglas and did not send him back to the cabin, with Douglas getting caught up in his father’s deception.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Became Distracted

Thomas might have been able to gain the level of involvement with Douglas he was seeking if the voice-altering application scheme did not develop. As fans recall, Thomas noticed Douglas using the app and that sparked an idea.

If Thomas had not gotten off-track by framing Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), a specific conflict could have developed. It is understood this is soap, and the direction taken was purposeful.

Douglas became caught in yet another scenario where his father went too far, and Hope was forced to be a disciplinarian.

Steffy agreed to Douglas’ request that he lives with her family at the cliff house. But she added a caveat to help her husband and the other adults accept what will happen.

Wood’s character believes Douglas will miss Hope and, after a handful of days, choose to return to the cabin. If that does not happen, Steffy will be forced to make a decision.

The dynamic of Douglas’ life will change if he lives in his fourth home since 2019, with the New York to California move in mind. Steffy is capable of being a good referee between Thomas and Hope. But how would that affect her family life on B&B?
