Coronation Street Spoilers – Iain MacLeod Relates Max Turner’s Storyline to Teen Viewers
The “Corrie” boss also unveiled that Max’s new storyline will be aired for the next 12 months. MacLeod stated that the young man’s serious story would evolve into a rom-com as he wanted the character to experience a light mood in the cobbles. Moreover, he shared that the story is also dedicated to the viewers, especially teenagers, who can relate to Max’s troubled moments.
“I think he was groomed, and he has led astray. I think that happens with a lot of teenagers out in the UK at the moment and it’d be a shame if we told a story where we just wrote them off, I suppose,” the producer said.
