Royal Family News: “Suspicious” Camilla Parker Bowles Called Meghan Markle The “M” Word

British royal family news teases that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry now live in exile in America. It’s a self-exile in a SoCal mansion so there’s that, plus they get to keep their fancy schmancy titles, Duke and Duchess of Excess.

The gilded pair met in 2016, married in 2018 and fled the monarchy in 2020. Now comes word that at least one VIP was “suspicious” of Meghan from the get-go. Keep reading to find out who didn’t think Meghan passed the sniff test.

According to royal expert Tom Bower, Camilla was “suspicious” of Meghan and gave her a suitable nickname to match.

Bower said, “From the outset, Camilla was suspicious about the adventures from Los Angeles. She found it hard to believe that Meghan would sacrifice her career and independence to serve silently as a team player devoted to the monarchy.” And she was right.

Nonetheless, King Charles III gave Meghan a different, slightly more positive nickname. It’s been reported that he dubbed his DIL ‘tungstun.’ According to Express Charles deployed the word because Meghan was “tough and unbending” just like the metal.

Things have come a long way since proud Charles walked Meghan down the aisle at her 2018 wedding to his youngest son, Harry. To give you an idea of how low relations have sunk, Harry alleged in his memoir, Spare, that King Charles III was reportedly “jealous” of Meghan. In what universe? That would be the Markle Galaxy where the only two stars orbit around each other in an endless loop of admiration. It’s lonely at the top.
