General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will cling to hope, waiting to see if Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) bone marrow is a match. Liesl, after not being able to do anything to save her own daughter’s life, is tested to see if she can save Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen).
General Hospital Spoilers – Willow Tait May Be Out Of Options
Willow may be out of options if a match is not found, they thought that her baby’s cord blood would have enough stem cells. Unfortunately, between the cord and the placenta, there were not enough stem cells to harvest to save Willow’s life, so it’s back to finding a bone marrow donor. Even though Willow would not have anything to do with Nina, Nina was pleased that she seems open to Liesl after Liesl cornered Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Even though Carly wouldn’t try to influence Willow to make nice with Nina, she did try to build a bridge between Willow and Liesl. According to General Hospital spoilers, Liesl had insisted Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) test her to be a bone marrow match even before cornering Carly.
GH Spoilers – The Waiting Game
Now that Liesl has been tested, it’s been a waiting game – even if she does prove to be a perfect match and everything is good, Willow’s leukemia may be too advanced. Willow now regrets waiting so long to get treatment, even if there was a risk to her baby-just because there was a small risk, it didn’t mean anything bad would happen. Now, this late in the game, there is a huge risk she may not be around to raise the children and it’s a bigger risk than she would have taken earlier. It shouldn’t take too long to find out the test results and Liesl and Nina wait together, hoping Liesl’s bone marrow can potentially save Willow’s life.
General Hospital Spoilers – She’s A Match, It’s Happening, All Pray
Willow is very weak, but her will to live is very strong; Liesl is the perfect match and the transplant is underway. For once, the two sides aren’t bickering and joined together in a common goal; prayers and good thoughts for Willow’s survival. Liesl is brought out to recovery but there’s a delay with Willow; assurances are given the doctors are being cautious because of her hemorrhaging during her c-section.
Nina and all who love Willow all cling to hope that the transplant is the answer, and Willow will recover from it and come out of anesthesia soon. Nina weeps because of fear, and she cannot lose another daughter-Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) comforts her.
