The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease that Thomas and Steffy Forrester (Matthew Atkinson, Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) fight over Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). The sibling strife over the little boy becomes so fierce that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) feels she must intervene.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Don’t Make Me Come Down There

Many a parent has felt the tension between their children fighting while perhaps they’re upstairs trying to sleep or study, and usually hears the fighting too. The children usually know that they’d better calm down and play nice when they hear said parent shout, “Don’t make me come down there!” Taylor is at the point where she thinks she needs to come down there and intervene in Thomas and Steffy’s fighting over Douglas, which is the very last thing Douglas needs.

It’s not easy to mediate between people who don’t want to be mediated, and it’s not easy for the person trying to mediate. The whole situation is supercharged with emotions because no one wants to be told they cannot spend time with their child.

B & B Spoilers – You Both Must Consider Douglas Forrester’s Needs

Taylor bravely gets in the middle of her fighting grown children and tells Steffy and Thomas they both must consider Douglas’ needs and that this strife can be felt by him. Steffy, as a mother, has been more sensitive to this than her brother has, and has tried to explain to Thomas that she has to keep Douglas’ emotional needs in mind.

They are doing exactly what Douglas was trying to avoid by not picking either Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) or Thomas as his guardian – he thought Steffy would be neutral. Taylor says Douglas doesn’t need to be in the middle of a war zone and that’s what this is rapidly becoming, instead of a refuge.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Maybe Stay With Grandma?

Taylor suggests maybe Douglas should stay with her, or her and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) who had invited her to move in together. It might take the stress off Steffy and they could supervise visits with Douglas-it’s a thought, anyway but they may have to have the guardianship re-amended again. Taylor tells Thomas, as Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) did, that he put a lot of pressure on his son by asking him to choose, a choice he wasn’t prepared to make.

If Douglas were to stay with his grandmas for a while, then maybe that would be a more neutral place than Aunt Steffy’s. They can think about it and talk about it and of course include Douglas in any ideas and ask his input.
