Young And The Restless Spoilers: Should Daniel Romalotti & Lily Winters Reunite?

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will reveal a shocking secret the week of March 6th. What is he keeping quiet now? Could this have to do with possibly lingering feelings he has for his now-friend (and ex) Lily Winters (Christel Khalil)?

The Young And The Restless  Spoilers – Lily Winters & Daniel Romalotti Decide To Stay In The Friends’ Zone

Y&R spoilers imply that Lily and Daniel will likely stay in the friends’ zone for a bit. After all, the exes *almost* shared a kiss recently before Winters stopped the lip lock and tried to laugh it off. The two would agree to stay friends, and that diving into a romance at this point in time may not be a good idea.

That doesn’t mean a romantic reunion isn’t in the cards, it just means it likely won’t happen in the near future. With that said, there are clearly sparks between this couple that has quite the history. Lily likely wants to ensure her feelings for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) are completely resolved before she dives into something with Daniel. Meanwhile, Romalotti is JUST gaining closure with the official end of his relationship with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). He knows Lily deserves more than just a rebound relationship.

Y&R Spoilers – Do Fans Want To See Lily Winters & Daniel Romalotti Come Together?

According to a recent Soap Opera Digest (SOD) poll, Y&R fans seem split over the idea of Lily and Daniel reuniting. While 58% acknowledged they do want to see the teenage sweethearts come back together, 42% said, no way!

On the one hand, it would be nice to see the two give their relationship a shot as adults. Both Lily and Daniel were way too young for anything “serious” when they fell in love and eventually got married. Their romance would stand more of a chance now that they are older. On the other hand, they do have a great friendship, and sometimes recycled romances can be a bore. Both Lily and Daniel may fair better with a fresh relationship with someone “new” in Genoa City.
