Y&R Spoilers – Diane JenkinsIs Worried About Jack Abbott’s Safety

Then again, her rejection of Jack’s proposal could be short-lived. She’s likely playing up her martyr role. She may initially reject Jack’s marriage request under the guise that she wants to keep him “safe”. After all, her reasoning will be that he’ll become that much more of a target if the two get hitched. The truth is, Jack, Kyle, Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez), Summer Abbott (Allison Lanier), and the rest of the Abbott fam jam are in danger of any revenge plans Stark has in mind for Diane if she remains in GC. She knows this, but by rejecting his marriage proposal to “protect” the family, she’ll look like that much more of a saint in Jack’s eyes. In the end, she’ll tell him no, he’ll insist it’s them versus the world, and she’ll happily place that ring on her finger.
