The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is taken aback when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) suggests that she should seduce her ex-husband, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), as it would give him a fair shot with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan).

Adam Newman Underestimated Phyllis Summers

When Adam suggested that Phyllis seduce Nick, he had no idea that it would blow up like this. Y&R spoilers tease that Phyllis refused to take part in it and worse than that, she is livid that he had the nerve to even ask that of her.

So, when Phyllis learns from her daughter that Adam will be attending Nick’s Christmas party, she refuses to go. It creates tension with Nick as he demands to know why she won’t be attending.

Phyllis Summers Refuses To Attend Newman Family Dinner

The redhead tells Nick that she wants to celebrate Christmas with Summer Newman (Hunter King) and not with the family. Nick doesn’t buy it and he demands to know why she won’t attend his get together.

Eventually, Phyllis admits that she had a falling out with Adam because he wanted her to seduce him to win Chelsea back. Nick cannot believe his ears, he knew Adam was shady, but he thinks this is taking things way too far.

Nick Newman Makes A Demand—Chelsea Newman Reacts!

In an attempt to keep the damage Adam could cause down, Nick decides to ask his girlfriend to cut all ties with her former husband. Y&R spoilers tease that Chelsea refuses to do that because of Connor, and she asks that he understand how sensitive the situation is.

Chelsea tells Nick she loves him and not Adam, and she cannot control Adam’s feelings for her. This isn’t good enough for Nick as he worries that Adam will always be present in their relationship.
