The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) might stun Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) with an “I love you”. The question is, will Sally return his feelings and tell him “I love you too”?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – In Love, Or In Lust?

Although romantics always use the phrase “love at first sight” it’s more likely that Sally and Nick are in lust, rather than in love. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) put it rather succinctly that Nick is “infatuated” with Sally, meaning he has a crush on her. Nick has been very supportive throughout Sally’s unexpected pregnancy, even when he found out he was going to be a new uncle instead of a new father, as he’d hoped.

Neither Nick nor Sally has said those three little words to each other, but that’s understandable considering how fast things have gone. He’s definitely committed to Sally and her baby, however, even though she is still a bit insecure over him.

Y & R Spoilers – Between A Rock And A Hard Place

In a sense, both Nick and Sally are between a rock and a hard place since the baby is Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) and he’s definitely in love with Sally. He may be too easy to profess his undying love, while Nick is much more cautious going into love relationships, having been hurt by many women. Nick wants to be sure before he takes that important step with Sally, even though he is committed to her and the baby-he doesn’t want either of them to be hurt. But there is a possibility that even though Sally swears she’s moved on from Adam, she may be pushing feelings down for him. That would be one reason to feel insecure about someone else, if perhaps there’s a little defensiveness mixed in with that.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – What If She Does Still Have A Torch?

What if Sally does still have a torch she’s in denial about for Adam, and that’s why she took so long to acknowledge she and Nick are in a relationship? At first, she wouldn’t call it any more than a situationship and at that, when the opportunity presented itself she gave into her weakness for Adam. That’s why she’s in the situation she is now with dating one brother and carrying the other one’s baby.

There’s a good chance that Adam and Sally will stop playing games and reunite after all is said and done. It’s just a shame that goodhearted Nick will get his good heart broken again if he really does love Sally.
