The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Explores Multiple Options – Nick Feels Chemistry With His Ex Wife

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was making the rounds in Genoa City, Wisconsin, on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Her early Christmas week pursuits involved four men she’s interested in for differing reasons.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is the second-greatest love of her life, after Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) could have developed into a greater love, but he sabotaged their relationship due to what happened with Summer Newman (Hunter King).

Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) holds and an as yet undefined place in Phyllis’ life. Enough isn’t known about this man of mystery, though his Las Vegas, Nevada, days and nights will eventually be revealed and prove applicable to his future development. And then, of course, there’s Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phick Then And Now And Maybe Tomorrow

Phyllis said something meaningful to Nick while intentionally wrapping Christmas gifts in the lobby of the Grand Phoenix Hotel. She relayed that she once loved him and still cares for him.

Stafford’s character wasn’t playing games with Nick and genuinely does want the best for him. The former ‘Phick’s’ plan to get together with Summer on Christmas day underscores the unbroken bond that Phyllis and Nick will always share.

Whether Nick pursue Phyllis romantically in the coming days, weeks, or months ahead has everything to do with what Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) wants.

The past tense was used in the header to this section because Phyllis and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) are no more and they likely aren’t reviving. Billy has a growing interest in Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), who he’s using as a proxy to avoid the serious emotional issues he’s been having.

‘Philly’s’ light shined brightly for a while. Most GC residents and Y&R fans assumed that Phyllis and Billy were destined to crash hard, due to the fragile nature of their personalities. The combined groups were proven correct.

Billy’s purpose in Phyllis’ life this week was purely nostalgic. She tried to offer him encouragement, but he initially took it the wrong way. Yes, there is something off.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Has Secrets

Chance continues to try and ward off Phyllis. But she’s nosy and doesn’t plan on letting off the gas.

Phyllis believes that what happened between Adam and Chance provides some untold leverage over both men. She hasn’t fully disclosed all that’s known and may be bluffing to a certain degree in this regard.

But Chance and Adam are consistently tight-lipped about Vegas. Phyllis knows that provides her with a stick to poke them. Boaz and Grossman’s alter egos are resourceful, so the games between this trio will probably continue into the new year.
