Neighbours Spoilers: Chloe’s Escorting Scam Stirs Up Drama

Neighbours wild child Chloe Brennan has sparked controversy by charging men for dates.   Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) is at the centre of her family’s concerns next week as she devises a controversial way of earning some extra cash.

The storyline began on Wednesday when Chloe, out of boredom, decides to go on a lunch date with a very wealthy widower. When it’s time for them to part ways the man gives her money for a taxi home, but she soon realises that she was given a lot more than she needs – $300, in fact.

Viewers have seen Chloe desperate to make more money recently, especially considering she has debts to pay to her mum. She therefore decides to go on more of these dates, enabling her to get cash quickly and easily.

When she reveals to her family what she’s planning it doesn’t go well, especially with oldest brother Mark. Though she explains that the dates are purely platonic and nothing physical will happen, Mark still doesn’t agree.  She may only be charging for her company, but he doesn’t want her meeting up with any dodgy men!

As Chloe appoints another meeting next week, a protective Mark seeks advice from Piper Willis, who encourages him to stalk the man on social media to get a feel for what he’s like.

Taking Piper’s advice, Mark soon finds out that Chloe’s date is married so rushes to The Waterhole to intervene. Chloe already knows this, and it isn’t a problem for her, but Mark’s interruption embarrasses the client and he rushes out right away.

Though Mark believes he did the right thing, Chloe is mad at him for not trusting her to make her own choices. Will she continue her escort scam?
