The Hallmark movie centers on a woman named Chelsea (Lacey Chabert) who ends up inheriting a chalet in Vail after the death of a family member. She decides to take a trip to check it out. Upon arriving, Chelsea meets a man named Owen (Tyler Hynes).

Although the two don’t hit it off right away, Owen and Chelsea do end up spending some time together. Eventually, they find that they crossed paths for a reason and it is teased it is due to true love.

According to the Denver Post, the movie is directed by Terry Ingram. He has been making films for the Hallmark Channel for a long time. On December 4, 2019, a small crew came to Vail to begin the movie-making process.

A short video clip featuring Lacey Chabert was posted on the official Hallmark Channel app. It provides all kinds of up-to-date information on what is coming to the network. In the clip, the actress teases what viewers can expect when “Winter in Vail” airs next week.

It is revealed that Chelsea is an event planner and the chalet is an inheritance from her uncle. Based on the sneak peek, it is something that Chelsea did not expect to receive. It is teased that she decides to “just pack up her life and go to Vail!”
