Young And The Restless Spoilers: Michael Baldwin Makes His Choice, But Is He Ready For The Backlash?

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers state that after some coercing from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) has agreed to represent Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) in her murder case. As fans know, his wife Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) are all against this and have made it known to him to stay away. Alas, Michael has always been someone who does what he wants, but is he ready for the backlash that will ensue?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lauren Baldwin Will Reel, But Will She Come Around?

Y&R spoilers imply that Lauren will likely be upset once the news hits. She made it crystal clear to Michael that she didn’t want him representing Diane and he went ahead and did the opposite. The Baldwins have been together for a very long time and it’s because they have such a great relationship. Could Michael talk to her and tell her that he has a “feeling” Diane is innocent? If Mr. Baldwin can uncover the truth, or at least exonerate Jenkins from Phyllis’s murder, then Lauren may come around. But that will take time.

Alas, as the old adage goes, “happy wife, happy life”; Michael may regret the decision he’s made if Ms. Baldwin continues to remind him of her disapproval.

Victor seemingly threatened Michael’s employment during a recent episode, but will the Moustache follow through? While he’ll be disappointed in the lawyer’s decision to act as Jenkins’s legal counsel, he may choose to ignore it. Newman needs Michael more than Baldwin needs Victor.

But one person who may not stand for Michael’s “disloyalty” is Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier). She’s upset and mourning the passing of her mom. She’s built up a tremendous amount of animosity toward Diane and seeing Phyllis Summers’s (Michelle Stafford) bestie represent the very woman that supposedly killed her might eat away at Summer. She’s been lashing out at everyone, left, right, and center. Will Michael suffer her wrath, next?

      Forget Summer and everyone else that did not want Michael to take the case. Michael is what a great attorney is because if you believed one’s innocence, why not take the case. How many going to want Phyllis to leave town. She did the exact same as Diane. Please don’t come up with but “ it different “ that old cliche is so worn out. YES twins for Sally and Nick the father. That will make me start back watching. Because as always you can soap for a few years and come back to catch up in one day
