Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Guilty Shawn Struggles, Shuts Belle Out?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will continue to struggle and feel guilty over shooting Bo Brady (Peter Reckell). Even though he continues to be reassured he did so to save his mother, Hope Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) life, he’ll shut everyone out, including his wife Belle Brady (Martha Madison).

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – He Went By What Harris Michaels Told Him

Shawn had gone by what Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) told him, that Bo wasn’t the man that he would remember as his father-Harris had just come out of deprogramming.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Harris knew that Bo, too, had been programmed by Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) and himself felt guilty that he didn’t warn Hope that Bo was programmed.

She, however, figured that out pretty quickly but was able to break through to the old Bo-she’d known right before Shawn shot him, by his calling her “Fancy Face”.

If Shawn had gotten there ten seconds earlier, he would have seen that she’d gotten through to him and he would have made a better decision. But Shawn cannot forgive himself, because Bo may never come out of the coma he’s in.

DOOL Spoilers – Massive Guilt

As time goes on, Shawn continues to suffer massive guilt, convinced that he should have known better and acted instead of reacted-but even Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) would have shot.

Steve arrived on the cliff at the same time as Shawn, and was greeted to the same terrifying scene that he was, Bo with a gun pointed at Hope. Hope was unarmed-Steve knew, he had her gun, and they were right at the edge of a cliff.

It looked to Steve, too, that Bo was getting ready to shoot Hope off that cliff into the rocks below, but even he cannot get through to Shawn.

The outcome may have been different had they gotten there ten seconds earlier-but they didn’t, and Hope could have died at the hands of a brainwashed Bo!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Shawn Brady Pushes Belle Brady Away

Shawn is in such a state of regret he withdraws into himself in a sense, and Belle, back in Salem while Shawn’s still in Greece, calls for updates and offers comfort. But even Belle’s words fall on deaf ears, and no one can get through to him-Shawn is receptive to no one, not to Belle, not to even his mother and sister.

Shawn continues to have a very difficult time keeping the faith that his dad might come out of the coma eventually-even though he squeezed Hope’s hand.

Shawn can’t get past the fact that he may have prevented his whole family from the miracle that his father was alive, and reuniting, only to be comatose. All Shawn can do is worry Bo will be in a coma the rest of his life or possibly die, and it’s his fault.
