EJ isn’t exactly a Salem “hero”, but he’s got fans of his own, and many viewers find his character both entertaining and charming. As “Ericole” is such a popular super couple, many fans forget that EJ and Nicole have quite a romantic history.

In fact, Nicole’s two past pregnancies in Salem that resulted in stillbirths were both EJ’s. While the second one she tried to pawn off as Daniel Jonas’s (Shawn Christian), it was a DiMera baby after all.

If history dictates anything, the baby Nicole is carrying probably is EJ’s. Sure, DiMera has other kids, but it would be an interesting ending to a saga that Nicole and DiMera have faced over the years, if the baby was his, and the little one was carried to term and delivered with no issues.
