General Hospital Spoilers: A Mystery Guest Will Ultimately Rescue The Hostages Aboard The Haunted Star

General Hospital spoilers reveal someone is going to rescue everyone aboard The Haunted Star — and it will be the last person anyone there expects to save them. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is in for a fantastic surprise, as is Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) when one of his relatives appears to spare his life when he would least expect it.

The turnabout of events is going to take place more rapidly than most GH fans are probably expecting. Word has it, the hostages aboard the ship will be safe and back in Port Charles by the middle of May sweeps. That being said, there stands to be a major fallout from this savior’s appearance when the dust settles.

General Hospital Spoilers — No One Sees It Coming

Ah, the Cassadine family. What’s more synonymous with that name than the picture of longtime family members emerging from their deaths to have the last word? That’s what these people do. Of course, sometimes they really were supposed to be dead, and in other instances, they staged their deaths for matters of convenience until they were prepared to attack their enemies once again. It’s all about timing in this family, and when this Cassadine shows up to save their loved ones, it’s going to be a real reckoning for Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).

GH Spoilers Hint It Could be Helena

It’s possible that Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) is back for her long overdue reprisal. The last time we laid eyes on her, it was via video footage played during Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) memorial service aboard the very same spooky ship. Now, she could be back as an apparition — who isn’t likely to literally rescue anyone but could serve up enough fright to scare Victor to his death — or we might see her come back in the flesh to make sure her former lover doesn’t have the last say on what happens to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), and Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay). If she has to spare Laura’s life in the process, oh well. We’ll call that growth.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nikolas is Already Aboard

A more likely outcome is that Nikolas is going to wake up from his medically-induced coma aboard The Haunted Star and prepare to take his uncle down. Anyone who is an enemy of his sons is an enemy of his. Knowing his boys and his mother are aboard and at risk is going to give Nik all the motivation he needs to get out of that bed — atrophy and all. He might have to team up with Valentin to get the job done, but it’s worth it to meet his baby boy for the first time.
