It’s the moment that everyone has been waiting for. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate that fans will soon see Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) propose to Katie. (Heather Tom) But is Katie even ready for this?

According to CBS Soaps in Depth, while there’s no doubt that she appreciates Thorne and all that he’s done for her so far, this might not be the best time in her life to take things to the next level. After all, she’s fighting for full-time custody of her son Will with her own ex, Bill Spencer. (Don Diamont)

Sure, Thorne has been by her side this entire time, but she feels as though his proposal is coming out of the blue. She also doesn’t want to marry Thorne, to solely help her cause with Bill. In fact, all it will do is complicate matters even more.

Actress Heather Tom, who plays Katie on the hit CBS soap, tells the publication in an interview, “Obviously, she is touched by the gesture. She and Thorne have been getting close for a while now, and he has really been there for her. They connect. She loves the way he is with her son, but she is taken aback when he proposes. They’ve been having a good time together but I don’t think she has necessarily thought about taking their relationship to that level.”
