Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, January 8: Chloe Is Against Chelsea and Adam’s Reunion, Victor Gets A Visitor, and Devon Makes A Job Offer To Someone

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday January 8th indicate that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will be against Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) reunion, meanwhile, Adam visits with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) offers someone a job.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Kyle’s birthday celebration continues

At Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is working when Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) comes in with a cake. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) yell “surprise” then give Kyle their gifts. Summer’s gift is a framed photo of when she and Kyle were kids. Jack’s gift is an autographed hockey item, which is on its way. Kyle thanks them for the surprise, then as he’s about to blow out the candles Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) enters.

Theo has a gift for Kyle, he shows him the latest social media numbers, which are huge. Jack is pleased with the news, while Kyle snidely comments about it being the best gift. Lola then asks Kyle to come outside and admonishes him for his behavior. She says she was upset by Summer’s gift but learned to let it go. She tells him he needs to do the same with Theo. As Lola is leaving, Kyle kisses her. When he goes back into the office, Theo is looking at the photo of Summer and Kyle.

Y & R Spoilers – Chloe Mitchell ’s stunned by Chelsea Lawson ’s news

Chloe is at the Grand Phoenix chatting with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). She comments about him being the Billy they all know and love. He asks which Billy does she want her to be. They continue talking and she tells him about her pregnancy. Billy offers his congratulations, then talks about Chloe’s happiness and what’s her secret to attaining it. Chloe admits it’s hard at times and she occasionally cries at night. She then asks how he’s doing, and Billy says he’s still a work in progress. When Chelsea comes in, Chloe excuses herself to go talk with her friend. Billy starts to text Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) but deletes the message. He then texts Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan).

Chelsea and Chloe are sitting at the bar. When Chloe shares her news, Chelsea is ecstatic and hugs her friend. Chelsea then says she has some news to share, and Chloe assumes Chelsea and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are engaged. Chelsea explains that she and Nick broke up and that she and Adam are getting back together. Chloe is stunned by the news, and when Chelsea says that Adam’s a changed man.

Chloe responds that Adam is and will always be a sociopath. Chloe then calls Billy over to help knock some sense into Chelsea. Billy pulls Chelsea aside and listens as she explains that despite her and Adam’s history they’re still drawn to each other. Billy says Chelsea’s a grown woman and can choose how to live her life. After Chelsea leaves, Chloe fumes that Billy couldn’t get through to her and how Chelsea’s truth about Adam is insanely wrong. Billy then makes a comment about how insanity is overrated.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Devon’s job offer

Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) arrives at Society where Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) informs her, the takeout order has been canceled. Abby then points to Devon, who has set up a table for him and Elena in the restaurant. The couple sits down for dinner and talks about how New Hope has helped Sasha and baby Joy. Elena tells Devon about her idea to help others by setting up a clinic in the New Hope building.

Devon tells her that he thinks it’s a great idea. When Elena leaves to take a call, Abby comes over to the table. Abby and Devon discuss Colin Atkinson’s (Tristan Rogers) disappearance and Amanda’s stay in Genoa City. Abby says that Amanda has been a great guest at the hotel.

When Abby brings up why Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) isn’t investigating Colin, Devon says that he has the feds involved in the investigation. Abby then tells Devon that she and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) are dating, and that Chance is staying in town to start a security firm. Abby leaves and Elena returns. Devon tells Elena he just came up with another idea. Devon then calls Chance and asks him to keep an eye on Amanda.

Y & R Spoilers – Adam visits Victor

When Adam stops by the ranch, Victor is disappointed that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) isn’t with him. Adam says he needed to talk with Victor alone. Victor brings up Nick and Chelsea’s break up and assumes Adam and her are back together. Adam confirms he and Chelsea are giving it another shot. Victor comments about this being a rebound, but he assures Victor that Chelsea never stopped loving him. Adam then switches the conversation to Connor.

He says that he wants Connor to have a relationship with Victor, but it’s hard when they’re excluded from family gatherings. The two talks about getting Connor back into Walnut Grove before Victor once again brings up Chelsea. Adam gets annoyed when Victor calls Chelsea a con artist. Victor says Chelsea will never change and she’ll always be the same person she’s always been.

Adam says he’s got his family back together and he’ll break every rule in the book in order to protect them. Adam says he learned that from his old man, and Victor responds “that’s my boy.”

Later Adam and Chelsea are at the penthouse where he tells her about his talk with Victor, and how they’ll be part of the Newman family events from now on.
