Piers Morgan might soon be finding himself inside a London courtroom. Prince Harry has slapped a lawsuit against the Mirror Group Newspapers, claiming that they used illegal and unlawful ways to obtain personal information in the past.

Some think that Piers Morgan might have had something to do with it. In fact, Jane Kerr, who used to work as a royal correspondent for Piers Morgan, says that her former boss used to “inject” information into her stories without sources.

Interestingly enough, Piers Morgan has not said anything about the court case on Twitter. However, he has blamed other networks for hacking, which he himself is being accused of doing.

After The Guardian posted a story about how Sky News admitted to hacking emails, Piers wrote, “Amusing to see ⁦@SkyNews⁩ taking such a virtuous high moral ground on hacking given they’re a bunch of illegal hackers themselves.”

Of course, it didn’t take long for the internet to do what it does best and call out Piers for his hypocrisy. Many critics commented on his tweet with, “Same could be said about yourself. Just get in the witness box and speak from there, unless the thought of cross examination for hours is something you dread?” along with, “And you are clean as a whistle in all this are yer eh. We all think not and you know we think that. Looks like it’s all going to come out as well.”

Another critic wrote, “You seem to be throwing a lot of stones regarding phone hacking at the moment Piers. Hiding anything??”
