Celebrity news headlines recently claimed that Britney Spears allegedly used drugs. And now the songstress as well as Kevin Federline have responded to those claims.
But for his part, Federline pointed out that the drug abuse rumors also impact their sons Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16.
Find out what Britney said in response to the allegations that she abuses drugs. And learn what Kevin shared about their sons. Get all the details below.
Kevin Federline – Slams Britney Spears’ Drug Allegations!
Britney Spears just faced a flood of claims that she uses drugs. And a newspaper report cited Kevin Federline on the topic. The report alleged that Federline felt concerned about meth.
And it included an alleged quote from Kevin, 45, about Britney, 41. “I fear she’s on meth. I’ve been praying someone would make it public and that she wakes up. It’s terrifying. She is the mother of my boys,” Federline allegedly told the newspaper via People.
However, Kevin called that report “false” and “repulsive” in his Instagram response. And he shared that reading the allegations “saddens” his family. That includes his sons Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16. And Federline pointed out, “[The] lies and attempts to exploit minors is click bait and another repulsive example of where, unfortunately, certain journalism has sunk today.”
But Britney also turned to Instagram to discuss the claims. And she used part of her post to speak directly to the two sons she shares with Kevin. But Spears also noted that she hoped that Federline didn’t actually make those comments in the newspaper report about her drug abuse.

Britney Spears – Feels ‘So Sad’
Because of the songstress’ strained relationship with her sons, Britney spoke to them via her Instagram. And Spears called the drug abuse allegations “so sad. This may not even be them saying such things,” added Britney, seeming to refer to Kevin’s alleged quotes. “Because it doesn’t make any sense to me for them to be saying that.”
However, then Spears added, “It makes me sad. Because I tried so hard to make things nice for you. And it was never good enough. So you guys go behind my back and talk about me,” noted Britney. “It breaks my heart.” But she added her hope that neither “Kevin nor Preston said any of those things.”
And Britney’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, attacked the allegations that Britney used crystal myth in a legal letter. Referring to the newspaper report, the attorney described the article as “containing numerous false and defamatory fabrications concerning my client Britney Spears that are attributed to Kevin Federline and his children, in particular regarding ‘crystal meth.’ I have separately learnt that on several occasions, Ms. Barak sought to contact Britney under false pretenses, again using her minor children, which is exploitative, harassing, and outrageous.”
