While Peter August has definitely made a lot of changes in his life, with most of them for the better, it might not be enough. That’s because he is still keeping his mother and his girlfriend in the dark about what he’s really doing when no one is looking.
In fact, many viewers believe that the erstwhile Henrik should be dumped by his girlfriend and arrested by the woman that is presumed to be his mother.

With that said, Peter is going to have a lot to think about is he certainly doesn’t want to disrupt all of the great things that he has in his life right now, including his girlfriend Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). As a matter of fact, Peter does believe that Maxie’s love makes him a worthy and a better person.
GH Spoilers – How Long Will Peter August Be Able To Play This Charade?
But here’s the thing: his sins of the past won’t stay buried for too long. In fact, Peter’s sins are already bubbling at the surface. Moving forward, Peter will have a difficult time protecting those who need to be protected while keeping his own head above water. As viewers already know, you can’t keep a secret hidden for too long, and definitely not in a town like Port Charles. I want them to put the situation with Peter right again. They had crafted a strong redemption story with him for over a year then they practically destroyed it over memory mapping and Shiloh. Peter wanted Drew to have the flash drive then over a memory that has a 50/50 chance of existing they had him do something with Drew and all this other shady stuff. They need to have Drew be alive somehow and clear Peter’s slate over this. Maxie has only had a few months of happiness with Peter after she grieved for over a year and a half in the real world time over Nathan. Anna spent nearly two years trying to find, protect, and get to know Peter as her son. It is wrong to have them go through this because of them trying to turn Peter into a big bad guy. I hope that when Robert, Sam, and Jason have their victory they see that it came at the cost of Anna and Maxie’s happiness. I also hope that they see that they could have done something to help the situation. Robert could have been more open to Peter so that he thought of him as an ally and gone to him when Shiloh threatened him. Jason and Sam could have run Shiloh out of town or Jason could have killed him which could have saved Peter from being blackmailed by Shiloh. I want Peter to get back on the right path again so the he can be the man that Maxie trusts and Anna can be proud to have as her son. I also want Peter to be able to keep his promise to Robin. He told her that she, her children, and Anna would not have to fear him.
I agree
