General Hospital Spoilers: As Sasha Turns To Sonny For Comfort, Nina Gets Pushed Out

General Hospital spoilers hint Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is going through a tumultuous time as she sets herself up to lose everything and everyone. She only has a handful of allies, but even those friendships will appear to be hanging in the balance. Nina’s behavior has caused her to burn bridges left and right, and ultimately it will lead to her losing two of the people she cares about the most — Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson). Whose side is Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) going to be on when it all goes down?

General Hospital Spoilers — Who Can Nina Reeves Trust?

Nina understands that having a small circle of people she can rely on and trust is invaluable; she knows she can count on a handful of loved ones to be there for her. But she is also aware that people have limits and can only tolerate so much before they walk away.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) are among those who believe in her. Sonny is just blinded by love, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is family and feels an obligation to protect her, and Sasha was like a daughter to her. However, the pain caused by Sasha and Valentin’s betrayal shattered the mother-daughter bond they shared, leaving Nina heartbroken and wondering who she can truly trust. She thought she and Sasha had moved on, but maybe she thought wrong.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Sonny Corinthos  Is Iced Out

There is nothing Sonny loves more than feeling needed. Perhaps that’s why he and Needy Nina have lasted as long as they have. But soon, Nina will have to turn in other directions to have her needs met, because she certainly can’t ask Sonny for help in taking Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) out — or she would have to tell him why. Instead, she’ll turn to Valentin — who would still do anything for her. He could convince Nina that murder isn’t the way out of this, but he may have another path. Negotiating Ned’s silence by trading his shares in ELQ might be just the ticket to make sure Nina’s secret stays safe — but Ned needs to come to his senses first. If Nina turns away from Sonny, and in Valentin’s direction, her fiancé just might be feeling like he has been left out in the cold.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sasha Gilmore Corbin Welcomes His Help

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) could’ve given Nina a primer on this. A woman can never leave Sonny unattended. It’s not safe to leave him flapping in the wind and thinking he’s not his woman’s first priority. Talk about needy! When Sasha turns to Sonny for help after learning that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has betrayed and bankrupted her, we might start to see a shift in their relationship. Rumor has it a love affair could be on the horizon for Sonny and Sasha. Some fans are all about this, while others are lamenting the very idea of it. But let’s entertain it.

If Sonny cheats on Nina with Sasha, Nina’s world will come crumbling down around her. The lengths to when she has gone to keep her secret safe just so she didn’t have to let go of Sonny are going to fuel her anger against him. Moreover, knowing that Sasha — her friend – would stab her in the back this way is going to break Nina’s heart. Nina just wrote her that beautiful letter of recommendation, too! We can’t help but wonder what Willow might think of all of this. Will she cling to Sasha’s side in support of her, ready to support anyone who manages to pull Sonny away from Nina, or might she feel sorry for her birth mother and question Sasha’s loyalty? After all, if Sasha could do this to Nina, who’s to say she wouldn’t make another move on Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)?
