Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Kyle and Summer were once married, but she fell harder for him. For him, it was more of a business arrangement to get a piece of Summer’s liver to save Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) life, although she did agree to it.

He had put in stipulations that although he would marry her, he would not owe her husbandly duties and that they could divorce after a year if he wasn’t happy with Summer.

Summer had insisted that the donation remain anonymous and that their marriage appear real. However, on their wedding night, they had started to make love, and Kyle didn’t seem to fight it! As a result, Summer may have had some false hopes that he would stay with her but ultimately, he divorced her and married Lola. However, there was some bonding between Kyle and Summer and the baggage he has for her will soon be evident!

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott And Summer Newman Nail A Successful Business Deal In San Fran

Kyle and Summer nail a successful business deal in San Francisco have been in negotiations to buy a cosmetics company, and it was complicated, with a lot of back and forth between them. But now they are super excited at their success, and very proud of their accomplishment.

They decide to go back to Kyle’s hotel suite to celebrate. They break into the minibar and then order room service. Then Kyle asks some personal questions about Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) who Summer had broken up with when he came onboard at Jabot and she got the promotion, making her his boss. Kyle wants to know specifically if Summer and Theo are really over, and she confirms that she’s happily single.

Kyle tells her she deserves better than Theo, showing that Kyle does really care for her. Summer figures what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, and asks him if he is truly happy with Lola.

He hesitates and gets a little tense at that question – and Summer knows him so well, she can see there is something wrong. She’s not trying at all to be manipulative, she’s trying to be mature and honest but then there’s this pull of chemistry between them and Kyle pulls

Summer into a kiss! It’s obvious that he has some emotional baggage for her that is beginning to come to the surface and be unpacked, as she certainly does for him! The question is, will they continue to push their feelings down, or will they give into them? Viewers will have to tune in and see!
