Melrose Place Alum Heather Locklear Looks Distressed Amid Addiction Struggles

Melrose Place alum Heather Locklear has sparked concern. As a result of photos showing Heather on the ledge of a building, insiders speculated that her struggles with staying sobriety have intensified. And Locklear has headed to rehab more than 20 times for help with both alcohol and drugs.

Heather Locklear – Sparks Concern

In the wake of a visit to a Malibu, California office building, Heather Locklear appeared distressed. And the Melrose Place alum sparked concern as she scaled the building’s ledge. Heather has battled both drug and alcohol addiction, noted Page Six

.Attired in flip-flops and leisure wear, the Melrose Place alum clung to the building’s pillars to support herself. However, the 61-year-old star managed to move around the building. And she made it to the other side without falling into the dumpster or parking lot below.

After her trip around the building, Heather perched on the steps and started to write in a journal. But she talked to herself as she wrote, at one point pushing her journal back into a bag. Locklear devoted about an hour to her journaling session. And she then rushed to her fiancé, Chris Heisser, 61, who waited for her in his car.

Melrose Place – Alum Feels Marriage Doesn’t Matter

But fans who want to see Heather get support via marriage may get disappointed. After his 2020 proposal, Heather’s  fiancé Chris Heisser doesn’t seem worried about planning a wedding. And Locklear feels the same way. “I’m like, ‘You’re my man for the rest of my life, whether we get married or not.’ [A wedding] is so not important. We’re together, and we love each other and support each other. And really that’s all that matters.”

But while Heisser stays faithful, insiders have expressed concern about Heather. And after going to rehab more than 20 times, Locklear has sparked fears that she began drinking again. In addition to her struggles to stay sober, Heather allegedly experienced a mental breakdown in 2018. Her therapist participated in getting Locklear into a psychiatric hold after the actress’ arrest for battery of a police officer. The Melrose Place alum then achieved sobriety in 2019. 

And amid the current rumors based on the viral photos, fans rushed to defend Heather. For instance, one wrote, “Obviously she’s in some sort of mental state and then gets hounded and picked at. Maybe leave her alone. She doesn’t look well.” And another shared, “Leave her alone. This is cruel.” Some referred to her struggles with alcohol and drugs. For example, one noted, “Drugs change your brain chemistry forever. This is quite sad.”
