Young and Restless Spoilers: Ashley Gleeful Jabot Will Fail Because of Diane?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is gleeful that Jabot will fail because of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). She wants to see her fall flat on her face. Ashley wants full control of her brother Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) company.

Ashley can’t wait to see Jabot fail because of Diane. She wants to acquire the company with her fiance Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). She feels that it’ll be easy because of Diane.

The Young and the Restless fans have noticed Ashley’s petty thoughts and brought them up on the Soap Central forums.

Ashley was compared to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) who also wants to seek revenge on Diane. They have become obsessed with her. Unfortunately, their plans haven’t worked up to this point. Diane is still winning this war, even if she’s barely scraping by.

The original poster wrote, “So Ashley wants Jabot to fail to prove Diane is bad. That’s as sick as what Phyllis did. These women will not let Diane hurt herself, they are both SICK and childish.”

Other Y&R fans took to the thread to share their thoughts. Most of them feel that Ashley has become immature and childish, especially since she’s gotten back with Tucker. They also don’t like her obsession with Diane.

“GREAT point! [The coven’s] obsessive hatred for Diane is beyond ridiculous. IMO it is beyond sick and now borders on perversion,” one user argued.

“I wish she would go back to Paris (and take Tucker with her) so we can forget about her!” another fan noted.

Some fans noted that Tucker is a “fool in love” with Ashley. He’s letting her do whatever she wants. Tucker loves the “righteous fury” she’s been having for several months. Even though Tucker suffered through it, he still enables her behavior.

Y&R: Are Ashley And Tucker Too Immature?

The Young and the Restless fans have also debated whether Ashley and Tucker are too immature for their own good. One user brought it up in another thread on the Soap Central forums. The original poster doesn’t find their behavior cute. Rather, they find them “silly and immature.”

One fan agreed, writing, “agreed, not cute either IMO. [The] relationship of Ashley/Tucker is like a tease or a dare, and competition to Jack/Diane. Ya wonder if she would be seeing him if not for trying to one-up Diane.”

“I am okay with Tucker but can’t stand this rendition of Ashley. Immature and out of character,” another noted.
