The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, July 12 reveal that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) begins a new chapter. Meanwhile, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) faces her feelings for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Plus, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) move into the Chancellor mansion with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware).

Chelsea Lawson’s Challenge

Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, July 12 reveal that Chelsea will begin a new chapter. However, it will also be a great challenge. Chelsea was once again offered a position at Marchetti by Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier). At the time, Chelsea was not mentally stable enough to take on such a challenge.

This time, Summer offered Chelsea the position that belonged to Kyle Abbott (Micheal Mealor). It sounds like Chelsea might take the offer. However, that could bring up some tension and resentment should Chelsea run into Kyle, which is bound to happen in a small community like Genoa City!

Fans thought that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) would support Kyle in light of the “Skyle” divorce. However, Jack has made some decisions that make that impossible right now. At the most recent Abbott family meeting, Jack made his contempt for Kyle known.

Of course, Kyle is not innocent in all of this. At the same time, Kyle could really prove himself to be a true leader depending on how he took this complication. Kyle also needs to man up and admit to his mistakes. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like that is happening – at least, not right now.

In fact, Mealor told Soap Opera Digest that Kyle will end up feeling very, very alone. So, it sounds like that could push Kyle to make some big mistakes.

Sally Spectra’s Reality Check

Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, July 12 reveal that Sally will face a reality check. Sally has been in denial about her feelings for Adam for months. However, Sally has also found a sturdy supporter in Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Now, with baby Ava Spectra-Newman’s death, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) tried to get Sally to include Adam in the grieving process. Even though Sally refused and walked away, something clearly happens to make her think about Adam.

On Wednesday, July 12, fans can also expect Devon and Abby to move into the Chancellor estate. With Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) getting an apartment, it sounds like he’s ready for the next chapter of his life.

So far, Devon and Abby’s romance has gone smoothly despite how it began. However, that just means there will be some obstacles and challenges up ahead. Could Devon and Abby’s relationship problems begin when they move into the Chancellor home?
