This Love Ever After selection focuses on a woman named Natalie (Bethany Joy Lenz). She gets fired from her job as a reality TV host. So, she packs up her things and heads home, like anyone would do. Once back home, she ends up joining forces with her ex-fiance to run the town festival’s auction.

However, this is no accident. It seems that two scheming mothers are involved and helping give fate a little push in the right direction. Will their plan work or could it blow up in their face?

In addition to Bethany Joy Lenz, “A Valentine’s Match” also stars Luke Macfarlane as the leading man, Natalie’s former fiance. Casting details also include Mary-Margaret Humes, Caitlyn Stryker, Marco Grazzini, Trevor Lerner and Claude Knowlton.

Cast Talks About ‘A Valentine’s Match’

Lenz said in an on-location video clip that she thinks the audience will really love the movie. It’s all about matchmaking, it’s cute and just perfect for Valentine’s Day. One scene shows her opening up what appears to be a homemade Valentine’s Day card. Perhaps it is a memory from her previous relationship, the one that she let get away?

As for Macfarlane, this is his first time being cast in a Hallmark Valentine’s movie and he is really excited about it. The actor explained that the main character, Natalie, had dreams of a big career in the big city. However, he is a small town boy and was afraid he couldn’t provide the kind of life that she wanted. So, it sounds like their going separate ways was his way of allowing her to make her dreams come true.

So, will they end up getting back together? Could fate be stepping in to right a wrong when they separated? Viewers will just have to watch the Hallmark movie when it premieres on February 1 to find out!
