B&B spoilers for the week of August 21 reveal that Thomas has been mysteriously MIA recently. For fans that were looking forward to Thomas and Hoper’s new dynamic will be disappointed.

Hope ends up leaving Thomas this week. However, it’s actually Thomas that encourages Hope to return to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

In Soap Opera Digest magazine, Atkinson explained that Thomas doesn’t want his love for Hope to complicate her life. Thomas knows that the children must always come first.

After all, Thomas suffered because of his own parents’ love triangle. So, the last thing that Thomas wants is the same thing to happen to Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza), Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).

So, Thomas lets Hope go, although it breaks his heart. However, are Thomas and Hope going to be able to stay away from each other romantically?
