Once Paulina takes office it seems that she is going to have to deal with Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemers) drinking again. Will Paulina suspend Shawn and appoint Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) as Police Commissioner?

Belle Black (Martha Madison) is helping Abe to put Paulina in office in his place. Belle’s husband, Shawn, disappeared some time ago and she is still trying to locate him.

Once Belle finds Shawn at a bar, can she really keep quiet about his drinking? After all, Shawn just came back from being suspended for this very same issue.

If Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) runs into Shawn while he is drowning his sorrows again, she will certainly push for him to be fired this time.

Shawn should have never been given the job as commissioner anyway. Why would anyone promote someone who was recently suspended? Shawn was far from being the best candidate for the job.

DOOL Spoilers – Will Paulina Price Appoint A New Commission?

Rumors suggest that Paulina’s first order of business may be to hire a new commissioner. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) was recently fired from the job and it seems he may be interested in a career change.

It seems that Paulina may decide that Jada deserves a promotion after all this time. Jada is perfectly qualified to be commissioner.

Paulina may decide to change the rules about workplace romance too. After all, there isn’t anything wrong with coworkers dating as long as it is consensual.

Paulina may do this to try to keep Rafe and Jada on the force. After all, they need all the cops they can get on the force. Will Paulina make the Salem PD a better place to work?

Paulina has always been an advocate for women of color. Paulina is a very successful real estate developer herself and wants other women to succeed as well.

Paulina may feel that Clint Rawlings (Grayson Berry) has a vendetta against successful women of color and that is why he has attacked Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens).

Will Paulina promote Jada and point out how Rawlings overlooked her because he is biased against black women?

Does Rawlings have a racial issue altogether since he is going after Abe’s job as well? Rawlings will no doubt cause an issue over being fired to make room for Abe’s wife. Will Rawlings and Abe face off in the new election or will he face Paulina in the polls?
