Is The Second Half Of Yellowstone Season 5 Coming Soon?

Yellowstone spoilers, news, and updates tease that a lot of fans are wondering when the second half of the fifth season will air. It has been months since fans talked about the release of the latest episodes, and now it’s getting traction again, especially with the ongoing actors’ and writers’ strikes.

The fifth season of Yellowstone debuted last November 2022. The first half ended in January this year, and a lot of fans are anxiously waiting for the second half.

Kevin Costner – Is Focused On A Different Project

The previous issue that was being talked about was the delay of the shooting of the second part of the season.

It was reported that Kevin Costner was working on his new project, Horizon, which will have multiple installments with Warner Brothers and New Line. It would be at least three movies.

It was speculated that the cause of the delay was the availability of Costner. There were reports that he had not agreed with a certain schedule, but nothing was confirmed.

There were also rumors that Costner would not return for the second half of the season. This could devastate a lot of fans.

Nothing has been confirmed yet; however, one thing is clear – Yellowstone season 4 part 2 is delayed.

Yellowstone – The SAG-AFTRA And WGA strikes

It wasn’t just Yellowstone that was experiencing delays. There are ongoing strike actions by SAG-AFTRA and WGA, which represent writers, actors, and performers.

WGA and SAG-AFTRA started their strikes last May and July, respectively. This has caused several delays in production for different networks.

This could also be the reason why Yellowstone is delayed because a lot of American TV series are affected by the strike.

The ongoing strikes have yet to conclude, and there was no definite end to the strikes as there were no agreements yet.

But some reports say that these strikes could end in early September. However, no agreements between the unions have been achieved yet.

Yellowstone – Matthew McConaughey May Be Joining Yellowstone

There were also reports that Matthew McConaughey will join Yellowstone. There are rumors that he will join in the fifth season. But it is confirmed that he will be in a Yellowstone spinoff series that is yet to be released after the fifth season has finished airing.

Yellowstone is one of the most popular shows on Paramount. And we think that there is no way they would delay the second half of the current season even further.

A lot of fans are also anticipating the spinoff series, which wouldn’t happen unless the fifth season is concluded.
