The Young and the Restless (Y&R) news reveals Adrienne Frantz, who portrayed Amber Moore on both CBS soap operas The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful, is suing the Canadian Film Company NB Thrilling Films 4 Inc. for five million dollars after she was attacked by a dog while filming a love scene with Canadian actor John Cor.
The incident was reported on the movie set of ‘The Perfect Girlfriend’ as Frantz was bitten in the face by a Boston Terrier named Bentley. The filming company acknowledges the dog bit Adrienne, but claim there was no permanent damage and no scarring and feel that when Adrienne Frantz agreed to do the movie, like most actors and actresses, knew the risks of working with an animal and how unpredictable they can be.
The Young and the Restless star alleges that although she knew about the dog being part of the film, he was not part of that scene and he was the untrained pet of someone from the makeup department. She never thought accepting a role would force her to choose between seeking medical treatment or risking the life of her unborn baby. In the end, she refused the tentanus shot but suffered a miscarriage a couple weeks later.
Y&R’s Frantz is suing over her post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), her anxiety, depression and the flare up of her Graves’ disease which can be brought on a massive amount of stress. The allegations have been made and the amount has been set, but there has been no court date yet.
Fans of the CBS soap star, wish her nothing but the best and hope that time will heal her mentally as well as emotionally.
