As many royal fans can recall, Meghan Markle wanted to set the record straight when she told Oprah Winfrey that it was Kate Middleton who made her cry a few days before her royal wedding back in 2018, and not the other way around.

In her bombshell of an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, Meghan clarified that it was her sister-in-law who said something terribly mean but then later regretted it.

The Duchess of Sussex said that Kate apologized and sent her flowers after everything was said and done.

Still, it seems like the Princess of Wales is none too pleased that Meghan even dared to speak about the matter so openly as she did.

One source close to the situation even said, “She’ll never forgive Meghan for what she did. It was the ultimate betrayal.

The wounds are just too deep to be easily healed.”

But then again, it’s not like Meghan Markle is planning on having tea time with Kate Middleton anytime soon.

Even though Prince Harry is scheduled to visit London next month, the Duchess of Sussex won’t be accompanying her husband.

That’s because she doesn’t even want to set foot in the UK. Instead, she’ll be joining him the moment he leaves England and heads to Germany for the 2023 Invictus Games.

So, if Kate Middleton wants to see her sister-in-law, she’s going to have to make quite the effort to make it happen. And by now, we all know there’s a fat chance that she’ll do it.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
