After a long hiatus, Michael Muhney, who used to play the role of Adam Newman on “The Young and the Restless,” recently announced his return to the acting industry. It was previously revealed that he fired his reps but now, the actor has signed with a new one, LoveStone Talent Agency.
They provide a full-service agency that represents diverse talent while keeping an intimate boutique environment. The group is comprised of committed agents who are team players and uphold excellent work ethics. The agency is family-oriented and concentrates on helping new and upcoming talent. This small yet reliable agency, which is comprised of agents with decade long experience, represents all of their clients well.
Michael Muhney’s Run On The Young and the Restless
Muhney joined “The Young and the Restless” back in May 2009 when he took over the role of Adam Newman from Chris Egan. Two years later, the actor signed a contract that binds him in the role for an unspecified period of time. In April 2013, the actor announced that he renewed his contract with the sudser for two years, until 2015. However, it was then revealed that he was let go in December 2013.
Fans and critics expressed their disappointment with the firing of Muhney. The actor aired his side during an interview with the Huffington Post. He said, “Part of me feels this is because I’ve always been outspoken, and sometimes I’ve been too outspoken. Sometimes I’ve walked around with a big backpack full of hubris. That is entirely on me. CBS, Sony, and Jill Phelps are not to blame for that.”

Y&R – Michael Muhney’s Firing
Later on, it was revealed that the reason he was terminated from the sudser was that he sexually harassed Hunter King, a.k.a Summer Newman on the soap. The actress complained that the actor fondled her breast on two occasions, both instances were unwanted and unsolicited. Muhney denied the allegations and said that they were only rumors.
Muhney’s acting credits include “ER,” “Charmed,” “Without a Trace,” “CSI: Miami,” “No Man’s Land: The Rise of Reeker,” “The Portal,” “Disconnect,” and “The Good Doctor. The actor received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his work on “The Young and the Restless” back in 2013.

Haven’t watched since! Team MM
He was the best Adam Newman, yes, still miss him!!!
Muhney should sue your @ss. You reported he was fired over a salacious rumor as if it were fact. You’d best re-edit your story, which is BS.
