Kate Middleton is not allowing her husband Prince William to make the same mistake twice. As many fans know by now, the Prince of Wales was criticized for not attending the Women’s World Cup Final in Australia.

To make matters worse, he didn’t offer an explanation as to why he couldn’t go even though Queen Letizia of Spain flew Down Under to support the Spanish side in their final game against England.

Well now it seems like Kate Middleton is accompanying her husband to the Rugby World Cup in France to do a little damage control. Here’s what you need to know.

William and Kate are headed to France and you better believe that they will attend each and every game they can during the Rugby World Cup.

They need the positive coverage and especially after William snubbed the Lady Lionesses at the Women’s World Cup final.

Speaking to Entertainment Daily in a new interview, Nick Ede believes that the only way to fix the PR disaster that Prince William left behind after the Women’s World Cup is if both he and Kate Middleton travel to France for the Rugby World Cup.

He put it this way, “The fact that the Prince and Princess of Wales are going to the Rugby World Cup is good from a PR point of view. “If they had stayed home then they would have received the same backlash that William did for missing the Women’s World Cup final.”

Ede added, “As a couple, they are great ambassadors for the UK so it’s good to see them supporting the team. Also, although it’ll cause controversy with those asking why they didn’t go to the World Cup, they won’t make that mistake twice.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter although I have a feeling we will be hearing a lot from William and Kate in the coming days ahead.
