The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle In The Hot Seat – Rey Grills Him Over Breakup With Lola

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will soon find himself in the hot seat. As Y&R viewers know, he and Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) recently decided to end their marriage. Through tears, Kyle admitted to Lola that Summer Newman (Hunter King) was not only in his head but was in his heart. The two then realized that they needed to divorce, as Kyle had never gotten over Summer.

Well, Kyle then went directly from his breakup conversation with Lola to the Grand Phoenix, where he reconnected with Summer and the two ended up making love. But that doesn’t mean that things going forward for Kyle and Summer are going to be easy. As Y&R viewers can imagine, they’re going to have to deal with some serious pushback from the people they love.

Nick Newman & Phyllis Summers Caution Their Daughter About Kyle Abbott

For example, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will probably be incredulous to learn that Summer is back with Kyle, and he might not be too happy about the whole thing. He’ll be worried about his daughter getting hurt again, and with good reason since she’s been down the romance road with Kyle before. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will surely offer her words of caution as well, as she’ll want to make sure that Kyle is in it for the long haul.

Dealing with Summer’s parents, as well as with his own dad Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), will be challenging. But it will probably be nothing compared to what Kyle faces when Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) gets hold of him. As Lola’s older brother and father-figure, he’s very protective of Lola, and he was never really keen on Lola’s relationship with Kyle in the first place. He was afraid that Kyle would end up breaking Lola’s heart…and it turns out he was right.

Rey Rosales Is Infuriated To Learn About Lola Abbot’s Pending Divorce

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Rey will hear all the details from Lola about the breakup, and there will really be no way that Lola will be able to escape telling him the reason why they decided to get a divorce. Rey will quickly learn about how Kyle never got over Summer and that he left Lola for Summer. That’s going to infuriate Rey, and it will likely infuriate Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) as well, but from afar.

According to Y&R spoilers, Kyle will soon get a major talking-to from Rey. Rey will interrogate Kyle about what happened, and Kyle will surely have to admit that he still has feelings for Summer. Rey might even find out that Kyle and Summer are back together, which should really upset him. After all, long ago, Kyle promised to never do anything to hurt Lola, and now look what he’s done.

At any rate, it’s going to be a contentious conversation between Rey and Kyle, and Rey surely won’t hold back as he blasts Kyle for hurting Lola in the worst way possible. Are you looking forward to seeing Rey tell Kyle off?
