And William won’t rest until he figures out exactly what the Duchess of Sussex did in the baffling case linked to his late mother Princess Diana.

Meghan Markle Mystery Began In 2017!

It all began on November 27, 2017 at Kensington Palace. And on that day, with media from around the world chronicling her story, Meghan Markle flaunted her new engagement ring.

But the actress seemed just as proud of landing her new fiancé, Prince Harry, to accompany the ring. And Harry revealed that he had designed the ring on his own, noted New Idea.

Harry shared that to create Meghan’s engagement ring, he used a stone from Botswana. But in a sweet sentimental confession, Harry revealed that he added two diamonds from his late mother Princess Diana’s collection. And Meghan gushed, “It’s so important to me to know that she’s a part of this with us.”

However, fast forward two years, and the now-redesigned ring featured a new band with a micro pavé setting dazzling with miniature diamonds. But in 2023, the same ring has vanished. For instance, when the Duchess of Sussex received the Women of Vision Award in New York in May, the $465,000 ring did not serve as one of her jewels.

Prince William Worries About Mystery

And among those baffled at what might earn the title of The Case Of The Missing Engagement Ring, Prince William reportedly feels concerned. However, the Sussex squad keeps changing the story. For instance, first they explained that the jewels needed fixing. And then they claimed some loose stones needed resetting.

But as months pass, the mystery remains unsolved. What happened to Princess Diana’s diamonds? And the ring’s absence became especially noticeable when Meghan posed for pics at the Invictus Games in Germany. However, Prince William won’t stop seeking answers about his late mother’s diamonds. 

And one insider shared, “None of it makes sense that she’d not be proudly wearing it in Germany. It’s safe to say it has set off alarm bells at the Palace.” Because William and Harry continue to feud, William needs to solve the mystery without communicating with his brother. And so William has talked to “mutual friends” about the situation.

“He’s putting the word out through mutual friends that he wants to know what’s going on,” noted the insider. “Not knowing where they are is disturbing for William. He’s always protective of his mother’s legacy.” And William views the late Princess Diana’s diamonds as “such an important part of that” legacy, according to the source. “The memories he has of her wearing each piece will never go away.”
