Seeing how they have so much in common, you’d think that Prince Harry and David Beckham would be the best of pals.

But instead, it seems like they are the worst of celebrity enemies and it all has to do with their respective wives, Meghan Markle and Victoria Beckham. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Back in 2018, it was reported that Meghan Markle was very keen on becoming good friends with Victoria Beckham, just because they really did have a lot in common at the time.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “They get along well and have been in touch recently. Meghan really likes Victoria’s style and was keen to pick her brains about pulling together a working wardrobe.”

But then trouble began when Meghan Markle accused Victoria Beckham of supposedly leaking stories about her and their friendship to the press. The fashion designer denies that this ever happened, but it seems like the damage was already done.

One source told The Sun at the time, “Inexplicably, [Meghan] feared Victoria was behind it — I mean, the idea that Victoria Beckham would be personally ringing journalists to give them a scoop is ridiculous — and spoke to Harry about it.”

Royal Family News: Will The Sussexes Ever Speak About Their Feud With The Beckhams?

Rumor has it that Prince Harry called David Beckham on the phone to discuss the matter but unfortunately, their conversation did not end very well. 

The insider then continued, “Harry is very protective of Meghan, and decided to deal with the matter head-on, by directly contacting his good pal, David. He quickly put Harry right, and the two men agreed to move on — but it certainly made things awkward for a while.”

Supposedly, Prince Harry and David have not spoken to each other since that incident. So far the Sussexes have not made any comments about the matter. Watch this space for more juicy royal drama to come.
