Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers and Recap Thursday: Brooke Confesses To Ridge, Wyatt Visits Sally Spectra

The Thursday, February 13, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful opens with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and his wife at odds again over Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Ridge is impressed and surprised by his son’s romantic gesture in throwing Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) a surprise birthday party.

Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) isn’t surprised that Thomas put on a public show so people could witness how devoted he is to Zoe. Brooke believes that Thomas has fooled everyone into thinking he’s changed. She asks Ridge to open his eyes and see that Thomas is still a danger to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Brooke says that, if Ridge wants to end things, he should go be with Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards). Ridge wants to be with Brooke, not Shauna.

Brooke confesses to Ridge that she recently had the urge to drink, but chose to call her sponsor and attend a meeting. She blames her setback on Thomas. Ridge worries that Brooke’s hatred for Thomas will drive her to drink.

Ridge wonders why Brooke can’t accept that Thomas isn’t threatening anyone and has moved on from Hope. Ridge believes that the one thing keeping them apart is the way Brooke feels about Thomas. Ridge is tired of Brooke’s disdain for Thomas. Brooke can end their conflict by accepting Thomas. Ridge pleads with her to fight for their relationship and let go of her resentment and anger.

Zoe gives Thomas a thank-you kiss in front of Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) is disgusted at the games Thomas is playing with Zoe and Douglas. Hope tries to comfort Douglas who is upset by the display of affection. He fears that Zoe will be his mommy. Vinny confronts Thomas, but Thomas is unrepentant. Douglas is the key to convincing Hope to come back to Thomas.

Thomas asks Zoe to look after Douglas so that he can talk to Hope. Hope blasts Thomas for confusing and upsetting his son. Hope says that Thomas was wrong to kiss Zoe without warning Douglas about their relationship. Douglas needs stability. Thomas says that the real reason Douglas is upset is because Hope and Thomas aren’t living together as a real family. He pretends to feel terrible for hurting Douglas. He asks Hope if the future that Douglas dreams about—Thomas, Hope, and Douglas as a family—could ever be a reality.

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is distracted while Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) tries to gossip about the birthday party. Quinn tells Sally that she respects her as an artist and that she’ll bounce back from her breakup with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks).

Wyatt can’t accept that Sally is dying. Wyatt wants to see Sally so that he can help her. His father and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) remind him that Sally swore Katie to secrecy. Katie asks Wyatt to pretend that everything is fine. Wyatt rushes out. Sally needs him now. Wyatt visits Sally and sees her trembling hands. He pretends that he doesn’t know about her illness. He claims that he just wants to hang out with her and talk as friends.

Katie worries that Wyatt will make Sally feel like an obligation. He won’t be able to hide the fact that he knows Sally is dying. Bill trusts that his son will do what’s right for Sally.
