The When Calls the Heart Season 11 spoilers are heating up. Co-creator Brian Bird talked about the new season on the Hearties Aftershow.

Season 10 of When Calls the Heart wrapped up on Sunday, October 15. He was happy to share some teasers as to what fans could expect for the new season, which is currently filming.

Love is on the horizon for Mike Hickam (Ben Rosenbaum) and Mei Suo (Amanda Wong). Suo is a supporting character who will finally get a love story of her own.

She joined When Calls the Heart during Season 9 when she showed up in town dressed as a man. Fans couldn’t help but notice sparks flying between Hickam and Mei in the previous season.

Bird said: “If you are happy with Hickam and Mei pairing, they will love Season 11.”

The WCTH Season 11 spoilers also suggest there are “surprises” in store for Fiona Miller (Kayla Wallace). The free-spirited character will be taken in a new direction. Bird only hinted that she will be met with “some surprises” in the new season.

When Calls The Heart Season 11 Spoilers – Wedding Bells Ring

Hearties will be happy to hear about a wedding in Hope Valley. They were left disappointed by the Season 10 finale titled “Starry Nights.”

Some fans looked forward to dressing up for Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) and Elizabeth Thorton’s (Erin Krakow) big day. They might have to wait until the following season, according to the WCTH spoilers.

Bird told host James Lott Jr. that there will be a wedding. However, he didn’t reveal who was getting married. Hearties are wondering who it could be.

A couple could arrive in Hope Valley in order to get married. Or, it could be a new couple who decides to take their relationship to the next level.

Last, Bird shared three words to describe Season 11 of When Calls the Heart. He chose “resolution,” “romance,” and “opposite of gravitas.” It’s not going to be as dramatic as the previous seasons. It will be more carefree and fun.
