General Hospital Spoilers: Cyrus Renault’s New Focus, Snagging His Nemesis’s Ex, Carly Spencer

GH spoilers hint at some incredible plot twists on the horizon. Now that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is a free man, he’s making his rounds within the little town.

He recently had a run-in with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) as she paid a visit to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in the hospital.

He wanted to make amends with the two; however, Carly made it clear that she wasn’t open to anything Cyrus was selling, as Renault tried his darndest to prove he’s a “changed man”.

Could this scene be one step toward a new storyline that launches between the freed criminal and Carly?

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Is Jealous Of Sonny Corinthos

GH spoilers don’t offer much in terms of Cyrus’s true intentions. One thing is clear, he’s quite jealous of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

One thing in particular is how the community views the mob boss. While he’s feared, he’s also well-respected, and it does hurt Cyrus that Sonny has a very close relationship with his sister, Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

Corinthos also happens to be very popular with the ladies, an affection that Cyrus has never been able to garner with the females in Port Charles. As Renault aims to be more like Sonny, could Carly become his new obsession?

GH Spoilers – Could Carly Spencer Be In Danger?

There’s a good chance that Cyrus could become fixated with Carly. Not that he has a fighting chance at a romance with her. Even if she didn’t have Drew as a boyfriend, Renault is far from her type, even on a good day.

Still, Cyrus does seem more than a bit delusional. He could believe there’s an attraction between them, even if Carly provides zero signs that she’s interested.

He could become so unhinged that he plans on kidnapping her, to take her away from her “dangerous” Port Charles life as Sonny’s ex-wife; his infatuation could mirror the likes of how Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) was with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Carly is a strong woman that doesn’t put up crap, but with Drew in prison, she is vulnerable. So, could she be in danger?
